Dreamwork Animation Presents...

Kungfu Panda. And Kungfu Panda 2.

Do you know one of my all-time favourite movie is Kungfu Panda? Absolutely love that show because of it's "pure awesomeness". Haha, yep quoted from Po! I love animals but I'm sure there's some meaning behind all these. I think I'm more suitable for the noodle dream than Po though.

Glad I'm ending my Sunday with Kungfu Panda because it hasn't been exactly that good. Working definitely takes my mind off things because I focus on what I'm suppose to do.

"but if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear"

Can't edit my words with this app.

Why is Po so cute??? hehehe.

There is nothing wrong with dreaming, right?

Now I know why people adopt a religion. It is like a way to attain inner peace. The much needed inner peace. Should really learn how to meditate to reach that state of mind.

Yes I got my final SMU offer. Accept it?

GE2011

Am at work now! Changed the working environment. Guess what made me happy in the morning? I made a rubber band holder out of a paper clip and scotch tape! Hahaha what the heck, I know. But I'm proud of myself. Childish/easily contented? The worst thing is that the two guys are not working here though. Oh, how I miss the company of the two of them.

It has never occurred to me that I would be so interested in the election before. I've been following the news daily, reading live tweet updates, downloading apps, watching videos about the various rallies on YouTube and even attended an opposition rally. This is what I call being an official busybody. This is Singapore's General Election 2011, who doesn't want to know such information?

In case you think I can vote, you are wrong. I can't even receive the growth dividends! This is seriously depressing. If only the election was next year...

You know, the problem with people is that we are never contented with what we have. Doesn't apply to everyone but to the majority. Different people have different thinkings. I'm not trying to be pro-lightning but I guess they have been doing a good job over the years. I read two articles today about the views of people and I do agree with what they have mentioned. One was written by yuenhoho and the other one was by an entrepreneur. Got the links off his Facebook wall and it was worth reading them.

In my opinion, some of the suggestions and plans of the opposition were really funny. I wonder how much effort did they put in to think about them before talking about them. To what extent will they work? Are they feasible enough? What about the long term results? How do you vote for candidates that do not make you feel convinced and assured? But well, having relatively weaker opponents will bring out the stronger people.

In the real world when you're standing for a contest, people look at your background, your qualifications. To be a leader you need to lead by example. It is this realistic.

When I was a kid, my mother used to tell me this. If I do not study well, my future would be like the sweeper down the road. Of course i would freak out and say i will study hard. Nothing is wrong with being a sweeper though, at least you earn that pay with your hardwork. I wonder if things will change next time? Would there be people telling their kids that still? Will the kids be like me or will they say they will then join opposition and still run for elections? Ok exaggerating but the next generation would be way more scary than us then.

My point is, it is still important for the people to have the necessary qualifications before bring a candidate. People will definitely talk. Such talks work both ways but it wouldn't lead to a better future for the country. It is still important to have candidates with the calibre and people skills. A good leader is needed to bing the country to greater heights.

Abrupt end to what I was saying but I'm quite interested to know the results for tomorrow. I believe there would be surprises hmm.

I better get back to work. I only wanted to express my excitement about tomorrow but ended up with all these.

Oh and I failed the interview.. Not surprising but there's just this tinge of sadness? Good luck to my friend who got into the second round!

Clear Mind.

I have been a bad kid. Need to run more. Period.

Yep, been skipping my weekly jogging sessions and finding excuses to do so. Sometimes I just need some events to really make me want to get out of the house. Lazy maybe?

Today, I felt that urge to really get out of the house. Not for any dates to meet anyone. Just needed the me-time at the park connector, away from people I know, away from noise at home, away from my phone. I don't really think much during the jog, the whole thinking process that usually isn't that productive will come when i'm going home or when I'm bathing. Haha, I always have ideas that pop out in my head when I'm bathing. Don't be shocked to find out that your latest birthday present was an idea that occurred to me when I was bathing.

The reason why I like jogging is mainly because of the me-time that I get. I don't have to talk to anyone, can be away from technology for a period of time and I can train my mind. I'm not a good runner. I don't have the stamina, neither do I have the speed. I find the sense of achievement in completing what I've set my mind on. I truly understand the meaning of why the 'process' matters more. Sadly I seem to be unable to apply it to my life when I'm back in my own world. That world where I have to face people and appear that I'm alright no matter what happens. You know, that thin line between you're strong and when you're acting strong.

I need to think. Need a clear mind.

Note: My parents think I'm crazy cos I watched the highlights of the royal wedding till almost 1am. Maybe they just don't know how much I like such stuffs. But mummy didn't say no to me wanting to be a wedding planner in future heh heh. Just gotta study hard, work hard and save first.

What are your dreams in life? Do you have one?
